    Aurum Vale got not enough love

    As we can see most dungeon got Hard mode, even Fractal Continuum got hard version next patch. For Aurum Vale seems like they ignore it entirely. They really should make more version of this dungeon, consider their first Trailer of FFXIV 1.0 featuring people fight with Malboro.

    I believe the developers have mentioned before that none of the 1.0 dungeons will have Hard Modes. That’s why there’s no Toto-Rak (Hard), Cutter’s Cry (Hard), Dzemael Darkhold (Hard), or Aurum Vale (Hard). That being said, I appreciate that it’s still one of the most difficult leveling dungeons in the game.

    It doesn't need a HM. One of the things that makes AV a bit of a step up from the rest of ARR dungeons is it syncs below 50, so you don't have access to those skills. A HM version of AV would likely be 50/60 and steamrolled just like those dungeons.

    What I would like to see is AV revisited through an 8-man raid. New but similar landscape, and definitely new and challenging bosses worthy of being inside AV.

    Adding on to this, I would actually love to see 8-man dungeons. Dunno if we'll get them, but it would be fun to have.

    Oh, those two dungeons were terrible mostly because of all the cutscenes. I mean a legit 8-man dungeon, kinda like a smaller scale 24-man.

    Tera has 5 man dungeons, I think I would like to see those too. and I agree legit 8 man dungeons would be fun to go thur.

    Also devs said they won't make HM from 1.0 dungeons.

    Part of AV's appeal is that its difficult scales nicely. That lack of lv50 means the level and item level sync keeps the content mostly about the same. Which I can't say happened with any of the 50/60/70 dungeons. The item level sync is way too high for many of them and it's clear when you see people do entire first-room pulls and speedruns.

    I do think AV gets a lot of hate. That could be from 1.0 players remembering it as a 8 person raid dungeon from hell. It could be due to players who never figured out that you shouldn't stand in the poison. For me, it's from the almost visceral reaction people get when they queue in, immediately leaving because they've been told to hate the place so much. It usually pops up at least once an expansion in the 7-9 level range before cap.
