My Retainers bring Armor and Weapons only now. Not long ago they brought all kind of things, including Housing Items. Was there a change in the system? I do have 2 DOM Retainers.

Supposedly, it’s dependent on their item level. Higher item level = better rewards. But really, it’s random. I have an i330 DoW retainer that still brings me Sea Cucumbers at least twice a day...

Nice job destroying the house glam market! I mean, a single retainer can now bring back a full housing exterior (a) how is this physically possible, (b) nice job eliminating the primary use for company workshops - ships bring back components for housing glams and the cost to actually make these can be high, which should also raise the value of said housing glams, not reduce costs so a L is 300k VS 15mil.

(1) This isn't new.
(2) There's absolutely nothing about this game that is realistic from a carrying capacity perspective.
(3) Given that SE still hasn't managed to provide housing to every FC that wants a house, this is a good decision. Items and content shouldn't be gated behind poorly-implemented systems that bar newer groups from equal access - period.

(4) ...what on earth does your FC need money for, anyway? I never worry about market stability because there's precious little to spend Gil on these days. Just saying.

Ahaha yes, I love it when my retainer turns up after his all-day venture declaring "I think I'm getting the hang of this" and hands over a single small fish or a piece of fruit.

Or they tell you to hold out your hands and after you comply they merrily pour a bag of sand out on your palms, getting it everywhere.

It is pretty ridiculous but it's the same for many other things like allagan glamours and what not.

They kill the old content and make people do new things, essentially killing older content (Looks at PVP seal rock & shatter)

I think the main problem with it is they are very common. i get the full house skins more often than the rare dyes

Right?! My two retainers still haven't brought back any of the metallic dyes and I've been sending them out since April on a near daily basis.
