They really should consider raising or remove the cap, the game is extremely dead right now with no relic to grind, unlimited tomes tomes might keep people subbed to have something to do.

While I agree that the game is super dead right now with no relics out to grind (outside of the old ones), I doubt raising/removing the tomestone cap would do it. Personally speaking, I’m barely capping the 450 right now. I’m working on Animas and thinking of picking up a Zeta or two because that’s how bored I am right now. :/

I barely cap with 450 nowadays unless I get some decent Savage farms or decide to do some PvP. Uncapping tomes won't do a thing to alleviate the fact there just isn't much to do, unfortunately.
All that'll do is cause people to hear up faster and be bored quicker.
If you can't find something else enjoyable in the game, more tomestones will not fix your issues.

Reading too much of the forums makes me very sad and apathetic.
I am not suggesting they remove the cap for the entire patch cycle but rather for the last month before we get gear upgrades so people who want to gear a different job or are coming back recently can get ready for the next patch cycle.
Let's be honest most of the people who are bored quickly are not subbed right now anyways and are already probably sitting at full i330-i340 on their main job.
It's such a silly argument to think removing a cap limit is going to effect someone's enjoyment of the game.
Kinda like removing Fatigue will only cause people to level up faster and be bored quicker. Levels, item levels, it's all progression after all.
Why did we get rid of it again?
They're disagreeing solely to disagree without any real opinion either way.Kinda like removing Fatigue will only cause people to level up faster and be bored quicker. Levels, item levels, it's all progression after all.

I've already demonstrated how many tomestones it takes. Without a cap, it'd take 3 months of solid dungeon grinding to get everything maxed up. That's well into 4.2 and the average player won't be doing that. Yes.. the top 1% of grinding players will get bored. But guess what? They're already bored. No change there.
Timegating was a mechanic used in 2004 for Blizzard to keep people artificially stagnated. There's alot of things to copy from WoW. Timegating isn't one of them. Lets get 7 days a week of play, not 3. I'm also advocating for all removals of Savage and Ultimate timegates. If people want to hit that stuff every night. Let them. Let the players choose how much time they want to play the game.
Im sry but i highly disagree with this. If what u say would be true than why remove the weekly lockout on savage? Dont you think this makes no sense? If ppl get bored out of the game will be not bc of the no cap on tomes. Lets say they dont get rid of the cap, but raise it till 900 that would be already better than the 450 cap limit.
