Housing demolition is going to restart with the release of 4.2.

Appears the counter has been ticking for some.
Please be advised that the timer will resume immediately after patch data is made available during the scheduled maintenance for patch 4.2. Because of this, there is a possibility the auto-demolition timer may expire for certain estates before maintenance has ended. For those players whose estate will be prepared for auto-demolition within ten days of the scheduled maintenance, an e-mail notification will be delivered to the e-mail address registered to their Square Enix account. We strongly suggest those players log in and access their housing before the scheduled maintenance for patch 4.2.

lol, It was not ment to be harsh. I have a lot of friends who aren't lucky enough to have houses of there own, I'm a friendly lookout that finds the demolished ones so they can move in :3

I support demolition especially given many quit the game and never come back. I'm still personally of the opinion a paying sub should be enough but that's me. I know i have friends looking for housing and I'm sure there are quite a few that will go poof once the time is restarted.

If you can't log in for months why do you need that house? I lost 2 houses before, but I think that's fine, since I don't need them when I'm not playing the game... I came back and bought another, it wasn't hard to find a free plot when the auto demolition was active.
