    Merging HT with Impulse Drive would be interesting. Impulse is currently very redundant ability - a combo starter parallel - and not in any way distinguished - from True Thrust.
    I always wonder why there are 2 combo starters where one would suffice.

    It is one of the things I rly like about NIN - your WS combo is the same for first two steps, leaving you the decision what you need most (DD, DoT or prolonging Huton) at the very last step.
    That is what i call freedom. Compared to that, DRG rotation is sadly inflexible and rigid.

    Furthermore, if this made Disembowel combo from Heavy Thrust, this might mean another Full Thrust in the rotation (minus 4th and 5th) for potential DPS gain, but someone would have to do the math on that who isn't me.


    It does seem slightly redundant to require Heavy Thrust for damage up but at the same time, it does follow that it is something that separates DRG from the other melee. It might not be much, but it's...... something. #identity, I guess.

    DRG is the melee job that has the longest combo and the most rigid one tbh I wouldn't say that heavy trust is really the one thing that separates it from the others
