I don't mind Aurum Vale that much either. The first time I did it, I was with friends who explained the fruit mechanics in the boss fights, so didn't get too overwhelmed. My first experience as tank was a little daunting though, having only been there two or three times as DPS/healer before that - I died a few times in that first room before taking it slower and more cautiously. Fortunately the party were patient with me, and it went more smoothly after that.

My personal least-favourite dungeon (as of ARR post-credits game) is Hullbreaker Isle.

Hahaha, that's what I call them all the time! I hate the noises they make, plus I had a terrible experience with one in FFX that led to a torturously slow party wipe after I'd spent over an hour levelling in the bonus dungeon, and was nearly at the exit....

I've had a few friends start playing recently, and they're at the point where they run into this...ugh. They both play DPS jobs, so getting their clear wasn't going to be an easy feat since the tank and/or healer seem to bail out before we even notice what it is. Luckily we had a tank tonight who said they actually found it enjoyable. I warned my friends that this is a rarity. LOL

After the first room, it ain't horrible. But I'd rather take Sastasha (Hard) and I kinda hate that place.

Was a chart on reddit and dungeon xp/min was not the highest as of 4.0.

I have seen those charts. They're talking about DPS jobs due to dungeon queues. Seeing tanks and healers do not have this issue, dungeon are always a viable alternative assuming mega pulls. The breakdown is:

1-50: Squadrons > PotD = Dungeons (Assuming all possible buffs and near-instant queues)
51-60: Dungeons > (Instant queues) > Squadrons = PotD (Squadrons lose value around 54-55)
61: Dungeons (Sirensong is actually inferior to Gubal Hard with a fast group)

Regardless, dungeons are designed for EXP should people prefer that method hence why they give EXP in the first place.

If not, where's Santa? I need to amend my Christmas list.

They haven't been. Banned users have no medals under their names and the mods who handle that business aren't on the clock on the weekend.

Could just be that she reached her 20 posts a day limit, and that's why she hasn't answered. Even when posts are deleted, they still count. If she'd been banned, the medals under her name would be gone.

The challenge in Arum Vale stems from the party's willingness to pay attention to what it's doing. It's only a chore if you're the type who needs to be tucked in and kissed on the forehead goodnight.
