Switched to 4K TV on PC, mouse cursor very small

I used to play FFXIV on a regular, 40" TV, and everything's been great. The TVs default resolution was 1920x1080, same as the game. However, a few months ago, I upgraded to a 4K TV with a default resolution of 3840x2160, and now I can barely see the cursor in the game. I have tried lowering the resolution on the TV to 1920x1080, but it has no effect on the game cursor.

The weird thing is this has only been a problem in FFXIV. All my other games work fine. I also tried to set the cursor to hardware or software, but while it does get bigger with one (forgot which one, sorry), it also makes it very slow and choppy. The only way to have a smooth cursor is if it's very small.

Anyone have a tip what I can do? The TV is a Samsung model of some sort, but I don't have a clue what specifics.
