It's silly for someone to complain about hostility directed towards WAR players when they've just made a post dismissing the other two tanks as being "faceroll easy" mere minutes before. This is just common sense.
I don't think this was done out of genuine maliciousness, though. Just a lack of knowledge. Dunning-Kruger effect and all that.
My post was just information. The frustration with terms like "superior design" and "braindead easy" is not new. Nor do you have to search particularly hard either here or on reddit to find them.
I think that players who don't want this sort of a reputation to stick naturally distance themselves from this sort of behaviour. If you feel that it's just the "vocal minority", then don't contribute to it.

When you ask for something on DRK:

It's true that asking something for one class does not exclude other classes from getting changes/you wanting changes for them as well...but man I'm so confused as to what SE is doing with DRK.
I'm still learning rotations for warrior lol what about the class is cut and dry if you want to be somewhat on par with PLD?
*edit, oh my god triple post. I'm a dummy.
Halo kid
Honestly, WAR was fine even at 4.0 as I never had trouble keeping up with the other tanks. Sure, there were some minor gripes with the new system, but I adapted and kept on playing without struggling. I saw a few vocal players basically acting like children because they had to learn a new skill, or hated that the other tanks were brought up to par. A few patches in and WAR feels great. I rather liked 'Shake it off' as it was, even with the limited utility, but the changes made it better.
WAR is far from unplayable, it is not broken, and is in a really good spot. If anything DRK needs the love because I swear I see more DRK struggle in even the most basic dungeons for whatever reason.
EDIT: I haven't felt the need to post in a long time, but honestly the way they keep buffing WAR, it's starting to get a little out of control. Literally waiting for the 'I win' button to be a WAR skill at this point.

				New Skill: Terrorize
0 potency. All enemies in a 45y radius around the caster suffer heart attacks and die. no EXP awarded.
Recast: 30 seconds.
I completely agree with you, and the title of the thread, and every other WAR main that has the general opinion of, "WAR is good the way it is, leave it alone and focus on other tanks. I mean, I've got all 3 tanks at 70, and DRK is the only one that I just feels weaker and far more punishing to not have mastered. Maybe that's because my play time with the class is less than it is with WAR and PLD and I just need to play the class more.
For anyone who has read Chrono_Rising's DRK threads, he brings up valid points about their cooldown times, and the doubleweaving issues that cause a lot of hassle for people trying to get into DRK past just getting to 70. They need far more attention now that WAR and PLD are roughly on the same level, and I think it's a shame that DRK hasn't seen at least some changes by now.
Speaking of which, does anyone else find it amusing that the world first DRK on Ultimate pretty much just said, "I like DRK because I find it fun." That's the kind of person I want doing world firsts, not the min/maxers who seethe and spit venom at the idea of a WAR staying in Defiance or a PLD staying in Shield Oath for more than the first 30 seconds of a fight. Props to that DRK for being awesome.
TL;DR: WAR is fine, its simplicity makes it a very cut and dry, but efficient tank. Fix DRK, world first means nothing in terms of balance.

Spent the weekend finishing up leveling my pally job. Couldn't jump back to warrior fast enough when I was done. I hate as a Paladin having to choose between self-healing and personal dps and I like fell cleave better than holy spirit. Both jobs have the same number of combos and OGC, so there's no added complexity there. I guess I just prefer looking after myself, and smashing stuff with an axe. Paladins just don't do it for me.
@Namingway Personally, I'd take innerbeast over shelltron. Shelltron's a one-and-done. Way too easy to squander, compared to beast.

I completely agree, Inner Beast does feel a lot better than Sheltron, even if the buff is only ~5 seconds.Spent the weekend finishing up leveling my pally job. Also, Tegernako, what is cut and dry about WAR is that, generally speaking, you know what you're going to be doing next. Unless you get very creative, or you're learning a fight, you will pretty much always do the same things. As OT, you get your damage increase buff, then Storm's Path unless you need to rotate tanks or share a tankbuster and need CDs or something, you Fell Cleave when you get the chance unless you're saving for that 100 beast gauge just in case you need to pop Defiance/Inner Beast (If you're unsure if you can take a tankbuster or soemthing). Other than that, you time Berserk with your other buffs and your 6 Fell Cleave/Upheaval/Onslaught window and you have WAR in a nutshell, barring defensive CD's or slipups. All in all, pretty cut and dry, WAR is almost more about priority actions than situational rotation.

Played through all of ARR, none of HW, but I will play through all of SB, come find me on Lamia and hang out!
I really think it has to do with some future boss mechanic it is the only explanation for a Warrior change, maybe there is a tankbuster that is wise to invul, but the boss goes untargetable before using it preventing Holmgang to be used, though if it was the case it seems wiser to just change the boss so I really don't know what the devs are thinking...
