I have a few friends who really wanted to get into housing. They ended up buying a cottage and got sort of overwhelmed when they tried to design it, especially when they find how much Gil they need to furnish it, so they let it go auto demolish. I really think alot of players THINK they want or need a house, then find out later on that it's not what they thought.
