Thread: 4.2 Housing Update

I can only speak for myself BUT, if I could not get a house and it was one of my "things" to have one, I wouldn't play. Why do people play if they are not receiving all the benefits they want to work toward? The only way to force SE to improve housing significantly is to cancel subs. Housing is an enjoyment for me and I deem it a necessary evil.

The only problem with this FC only time period is that now people who want the larges are just gonna start making FC's with their 3 other alts to go snatch it up. Especially if FC's without a house get priority.

This is really only a bandaid on the problem anyway, on my server when housing districts come up, most of the houses are gone within 10 minutes of it opening up.

I have been wanting to purchase a housing plot ever since I came back after a long unavoidable break from the game (life happens) but a lack of gil initially prevented me from doing so and now until the new plots open every plot on my server is gone. Which leaves utilizing an FC house or purchasing an Apartment, both are nice if limited in options. One of those limits being not able to personalise an outdoor space and in the case of an Apartment no outdoor space at all which is frustrating especially if your interested in Gardening.
I would love it if the Apartments had a Communal Garden space with a portion attached to each Apartment and also if there was a size option with corresponding gil amounts for said Apartments similar to the size and gil amount options for housing plots.

it's not greedy, its how its designed. If they make the gil then i dont see the problem. They has as much right to get one as you.
A FC is not obligated to have a large or a medium.

I own a large (FC) and 2 mediums. There is a simple reason behind it in my case, gardening plots and i need to do something with my 100s of million of gil i have from crafting

It's not greedy but the last statement is contradictory. Your millions of gil could be used to buy stuff from other people's plots. there's nothing from gardening that can't be bought that i know of.

You wanna get mad at someone get mad at SE.. multi house owners have broke no rules and are not greedy, craft make gil, camp athers watching for houses to open and you to could own some its not hard lol im up to 6 houses last 2 weeks or so that ive seen forsale on athers.. (before the lash out NO i didnt buy them lol)

Id rather have 1 neighbor with 4 houses who uses them all. then 1 neighbor who never uses there house..

I feel for you, but i play on that character with my wife. I got my houses when there were a ton of open plots. I have leveled this alt character to 70 on multiple classes and it has all 70's on DoH classes.

I would also like to point out that i did not get it because of greed obviously if i am willing to give it up. Clearly it is a design flaw and something i too would rather not deal with. So please stop being a salty child and leave your thinly veiled insults at the door.
