I'm very interested to see how this plays out. The Feast needed changes, and it's good to see that they're willing to shake up the rules a bit rather than let the mode stagnate any further. Looking forward to trying this out (please make sure there's a pre-season! Preferably a longer than usual one to let us learn and adjust!)

Really like the Light Medal mechanic and a third map. The only thing that is missing now is a rank decay system.
The medal system has always bother me, in, the team that is winning for getting kills is the one being punish. Hopefully, the changes to the medal helps the winning team.
Some of these changes feel like SE is trying to hardcode good play. You're supposed to spread the medals out on your team, now it's impossible to do otherwise. You should be rotating killing all the roles instead of farming the weakest one, then using the advantage to farm others, now the weakest one will be harder to kill as well as give less medals from before. Advantages shouldn't snowball, so now the time you are down a man is lessened a little since they don't need to run back.
The lower match time and higher defense I'm guessing is going to be balanced out by a nastier culling time. This might end up strengthening DPS and weakening healers, since healers will reach their limits much more quickly if culling time is boosted. That's when you'd see the difference in DPS then, in terms of coordination and skill. Before it was really just which healer was exhausted first.
It might shift it more in Wolf's Den direction, where it's less of an endurance fight.
The changes with medals will make the games way more scripted in regards to who to kill next.. as if Stormblood PvP wasn't scripted enough already. It's also going throw range class balance, new map has only pillars which means have fun avoiding BLM Fire IV's. Plus with the Light Medal mechanic you're going to have a harder time killing the BLM several times to give your team/healer some breathing room for a bit.
