Asami's last name suggests that he's been adopted by Garleans somewhere down the line. I get the feeling his arc will be having to decided between his nationality vs his culture. I'd imagine him figuring out how Yotsuyu got to be the way she is/was will play a part in that.

Eureka being possibly tied in to where the Isle of Val went is a good direction to take it. Here's to hoping it won't be the next Diadem and result in making this expansions relic impossible to get later down the line.

Is the death of Zenos suddenly the climax of the war with Garlemald...? Certainly I don't expect to shatter Ilsabard, and I think the Empire is most likely to remain stable if it stays as it is and just experiences a change in leadership behavior, but ... It strange for me too. Either he is going to be good but we find out that he is acting on his own (thus against Varis) or he will totally stab us in the back...which I kinda lean on. x)'

Well, he's totally trustworthy!

... introductory sarcasm aside, I'd take anything he says with a wheel of salt. More to the point, I'm going to be extremely skeptical of any offers of alliance - if Varis were really interested in such an arrangement, he'd show up personally instead of sending a dignitary. I'm not against such a thing, but... we'd need to be treading on even ground with him, and not personally dealing with the protagonists strongly suggests he still considers them beneath him. You can't go into an even arrangement with someone who doesn't treat you like an equal.

Yotsuyu appears to be genuinely amnesiac, and Gosetsu questioning who sinned and stuff. "We're responsible for Yotsuyu" and "I'm just as guilty" and stuff to follow.

Kefka showing up. Not played VI, but much hype.

Much hype otherwise. Not much else t'say; there isn't much story stuff to draw conclusions from. Interesting that the Isle of Val seems to be linked to Eureka; might not have the time to do it though.

Although if he does stab us in the back, I doubt it will happen this patch.

Kefka, Phantom Train(hopefully Sabin will show up), more of Nero(always a plus) and a Tron like arena. Looking forward to the patch.

I also seriously doubt that Garlemald is genuinely interested in forming an alliance with anyone.

If anything, I think it's a trick to try to get the authorities of Othard and Eorzea together so they can eliminate them, but I'd like to hope they aren't that gullible and fully expect such a thing.

Just a small doubt I have. Are the other FF bosses you fight tied to the lore(wibbly wobbly timey wimey thingy) or is just "Here's Exdeath"?
