    Since 2 days ago "December 13th", I am unable to login or even open the lodestone web page from my house, my internet provider is Global Village Telecom, but since when it merged with VIVO, I am having lots of troubles, I was forced to downgrade my 15mb speed to 10mb because it messed with the connection quality, but unfortunately I don't have other provider option to change I have to suffer into their hands.

    Here in my work the internet is Optical Fiber from Algar Telecom, here have VPN and the firewall blocks most of the web sites, luckly this forum isn't blocked and I can read and post some replies.

    If someone find the solution for PS4 users, call me in. I will be waiting for good news.

    I called my ISP just now (VIVO, Brazil), and basically they said it's SquareEnix fault. They told me as long as I have my internet working fine, they can do nothing at all. They even suggested me to pay a private technician to know what's going on, as if they couldn't also be the ones to blame.
    Honestly I don't know who's fault it is, I just wanna enjoy my game (which I'm also paying and not being able to use, probably no one is going to me reimburse days anyway). And I can't use VPN because I play on PlayStation 4. :/
    I've already sent an e-mail to SquareEnix Support reporting the issue.

    I’d like to thank everyone for bringing this to our attention and for your continued patience. We will be starting an investigation into this issue. We’d like to collect some additional info regarding players’ inability to log into the game or any affiliated websites. However, this information does require some personal information that we do not want you posting on the official forums, for your personal security. These will be sent to the email address associated with your Square Enix accounts, so make sure to check this and reply as soon as you can. We are doing it this way to protect your identity and the integrity of your accounts, as such please DO NOT POST ANY OF THE REQUESTED INFORMATION IN THE FORUMS. Unfortunately, we do not have a solution at this time nor can we guarantee we will find one; however, we hope to collect as much information as we can in order to assist our customers. Please contact your ISP and report the issues to them as well; the more reports that are made the more can be done about it.

    Unfortunately, reporting this type of error to ISP in Brazil is the same as nothing. They have no training / understanding in these matters and always think that this type of error is related to the malfunction of the modem and they do not help at all. We can only pray that the ISP of Chile responds and their error is the same as ours. It's very sad to say that.

    I keep waiting for the e-mail to pass information of other people who have told me, because thankfully this mistake is not happening to me.

    The lack of access is not only with Final Fantasy XIV, but with all the sites and games of Square Enix.

    Same issue here. Brazil, my ISP is Vivo and my traceroute logs show basically the exact same pattern (the 8th hop or so is a Telefonica node that sometimes doesn't appear, and around the 13th hop the packets just time out).

    I tried contacting my ISP directly, but their customer support doesn't know how to handle this. They're only trained for common or menial issues that most standard clients have, so when I approached them with this problem, they just tried applying "standard protocol solutions", like asking me to check the wires, or the DSL line filters or other nonsense like that. Either that or they just dropped the call without warning.

    So yeah, this is kinda hard to solve from our end.
