    If they do add this feature, they have to make it available to all couples: those with a roof over their heads and those living on the cold streets of Limsa

    Perhaps some sort of chest in an area that makes sense lore-wise?

    A shared chest like the FC chest. You can find it on the street in every city and don't need a house for it.
