cant complet quest

I have been trying to get someone to help me with the quest Rock-solid Protection for over a month now. I got dc just as I was turning it in and now I cannot finish it. I turned in the drop and then got dc before I could collect my reward --now when I try to close it all Slafborn says is I need to go to the dungeon and get the drop. and the quest is green and I have repeatedly gone to the dungeon and still nothing happens and I cant even abandon the quest and repeat it. Help me ---Aedria Khamazom on Brynhildr server

just got a reply and all it said was to post in forums and maybe another player can help me with my issue. NOONE CAN HELP ME BUT TECHNICAL STAFF --THE QUEST IS GREEN AND I CANNOT CLOSE IT!!!

I don't know if this will work, but try talking to a Calamity Salvager and doing an item reclaim.

Hmmm if you have done these objectives;

Speak with Bibimu outside The Sunken Temple of Qarn.
Use the Duty Finder to enter the Sunken Temple of Qarn.
Deliver the wardstone to Slafborn.

It could be a few things.

Ever since a few updates past you have to be the same job that you started the quest with in order finish it.

See if you can just redo the dungeon and clear it to refresh it, ( see if you can drop the item first).

Llast resort abandon the quest and re initiate it. The time you have spent on it you could have finished it over 50 times.

Once the quest is at the "complete" stage, doesn't let you abandon.

Best you can do is post in bug reports and fill out the template. Make it detailed, but don't be long winded. Boil it down to something like "Accept <quest name>" "Complete <objectives>" "Attempt to turn in <key item> to <NPC>" "Disconnect before item is submitted" "Log in, find <key item> removed from inventory" "Journal says <quest> can be completed, <key item> cannot be reobtained, unable to progress."

Aedra did you ever get this fixed? my alt is having the same issue and still 2 months since it happened and not fixed for me
