Could Necron be next tier boss? My thoughts and yours?

Kuja was not the one that wanted to return everything to return to nothing-ness. He wanted everyone to die with him cuz he believed that he was the perfect being. Since he life span was short, he believe the world should not exist without him.after winning the fight, Kuja used Ultima. Necron (the god of death) appeared and said he was going to return all to nothing-ness, where there is no fear of death. And since death is a big theme of this game, it makes sense, considering Terra was slowly dying, vivi's short life span, ect. FF7's background story with life stream seems quite similar with 9. The lifa tree was taking in all the souls and creating that mist. And I always thought the dude you fight inside the lifa tree have some plot tied with Necron.

Thanks for the correction, it's been a while since I've completed a play through. But my point remains, that Necrons showing up isn't hard to explain.

I don't remember Omega traveling to IX Realm? Did he? Been a while since I play IX I may buy for PS4 since it got released I think.
I know the Omega originally release in V so is well explain Exdeath since he did travel to V realm same for Chocobo Tales , he BEEN in the Chocobo tail Realm.
I remember Omega being in X, so we may fight

Well the I know off the would be better explanation then him pulling bosses from his *sensor* XD
So I tray to examine and give myself a explantation or theory and everything he summon has been related to Realm he been at, but who know what Yoshi has plan.

They should not limit themselves to the titles where Omega appeared, but instead, use it as a excuse to bring whatever fanservice they want. Which I'm more than happy to receive btw. I think the easier adaptations would be:

1) Final Fantasy IV: Elemental fiends, The Giant of Babel, Golbez, Zemus, Zeromus. Come on, we have plenty of bosses here.
2) Final Fantasy VI: Although it's gonna be hard to pull bosses from there, since the Warring Triad has already been defeated (the source of his godly power), it's certainly possible.
3) Final Fantasy VIII: Ultimecia's Castle. It's a raid itself! I was hoping for the last episode of the Mhach series to include it, but it would be nice to have it as an actual difficult raid.

It's still quite the stretch. Easy to explain, maybe, easy to accept, sure, why not. But from a game writing standpoint, it made zero sense. If there were some ancient texts in Daguerro that mentioned him, or some old legends in Bran Bal, something, anything to bridge that gap from "I have no idea what this is or why I'm fighting it."

It literally came out of nowhere, and the only way to justify it is some post hoc argument. Your explanation might make sense, but there's really not a whole lot in the game that explicitly supports it.

FFV is a fairy tale in FFXIV's world, hence why characters from FFV appeared as bosses in the Deltascape. So if it's a story/something in XIV in some shape or form, then it can be a series of boss fights in the next Version of Omega.
That said, Omega is capable of creating anything (with sentience) it pleases within its realm. So who knows what we're gonna get next (might even get Necron after all).

Honestly I would welcome a Seymour fight for V9, since a couple of his fights were more mechanic heavy compared to other fights from that game. We really don't have much from FFX yet either.

Exactly. Sure, you can explain it. But the game doesn't do that at all before it happens. You spend most of your time battling Kuja, and your big climactic battle with him is effectively where the game ends. The the game goes "oh lol, here's another boss we did no foreshadowing of whatsoever in the entire game!"

It doesn't have much impact as a result in comparison to the fight that comes right before it.
