As I am familiar with Diamond’s postings lately and commented in quite a few of their threads, I’m finding myself slightly agreeing with Leera. And since the topic is starting to go in this direction, might as well comment on it. True, Diamond has done quite a few inflammatory things on the forums and even more, from what I understand, on their server’s novice network. So it is true that they have built up quite a negative reputation, which isn’t helped by their mud-slinging that they throw back at other posters. But with that being said, it really has nothing to do with this thread. Reputation or no, there have been plenty of threads here started by someone that pass something off as fact when it may or may not be the case, depending on user experience.

Maybe in their experience, PoTD is the best solution, especially if they are maining a DPS class and the queue times on their server is long. I do have to agree with other posts, though, that once you hit 60, PoTD is definitely not the best place to level, unless you’re trying to level while farming shards, aetherpool, or bags. Regardless of queue, unless it’s in excess of 30minutes, which is a ridiculous long wait time just to get in a dungeon, PoTD is perhaps the next best option outside of PvP runs, but even that has been nerfed.

Tanks, especially, should not be using PoTD at 60+…hell, they really shouldn’t be using it just for leveling at all.

This wasn’t a toxic topic. The information is wrong for the most part, but it’s not toxic, nor does it require toxic responses based solely on a user’s reputation. Correct them. Debate the information provided. But what I’m seeing is the same folks who are rallying against one user entering the topic and essentially sinking to their level just to get a shot in. If the user, Diamond in this case, decides to attack another user, then fine, go ahead and respond back. But I hadn’t seen any bad posts from Diamond yet – all I saw were other posters firing off inflammatory messages.

How’s that old saying go? Don’t cast the first stone.
