Thread: CHOAS EU Data centre periodic lag spikes since 4.15 ISPs server maintenance.

Someone started a simular thread but it's been taken over by support as a personal issue and others posting in that thread have been told to create individual threads.

This is not a personal issue though. It's happened since an exact point in the patch cycle for myself and my entire static. We live in different EU countries and have different ISPs. We never had any of these issues prior to the EU server maintainance for 4.15.

I would like some sort of official notice that they are looking into this. I know not absolutely everyone has been effected or noticed but if you have just post below so some awareness is brought to the issue.

I haven't seen any official posts regarding this. I don't want individual tech support for all 8 of my static members, there has been a change somewhere enough to impact 8 different people in one static who never had issues previously and it's really effecting our endgame content which is the only reason any of us play currently.

I've been having lag spikes since 4.15 too. Things have been slightly better nowadays, mostly just minor warping and rubberbanding with the occasional AoE being eaten despite seemingly dodging it. Before it was quite bad.

I hope this issue will be fixed before the next raid tier goes live.

I've noticed that as well, went back to use WTFast and did some traceroutes.

Overall ping increased from 25 to 40, and I noticed more jitter. Overall it's pretty stable but I notice short lag spikes here and there that weren't here before.

Seems to be wildly varying results out of this. For some people it's a horrifying nightmare, for others, they barely notice it. I must admit, I've been slacking on the raiding lately and I've not really noticed it in casual content, but there's some hilarious replays and clips from Coil out there.

I have lag spikes too, but not persistent lag. Not disconnecting though, like I did in early autumn. I'm playing from Finland and have had the same internet service provider all of Stormblood.
