The Yokai Watch event was really fun this year. I’d never seen so many people at so many varying states of game progression all doing fates together to unlock the pets and weapons. I know Square Enix is loathe to go back to old content, but with the gaming industry’s remastered and rereleases, nostalgia has proven to sell games. People like doing things they used to enjoy again - perhaps with some revamped rewards they’d be encouraged to.

There are many people who are new or started a new character and would like to spend some time doing the world content - but it is too time consuming or too hard. Special Fates with rewards lineups are the only fates who are frequented and called out. But why not bring life back to the FATES by putting in a long term mechanic similar to the Yokai Watch event. You could have them reward tokens that can be turned in for glamour gear, minions, or maybe even titles.

I love being able to collect minions, pets, mounts, and titles. I’m proud of my achievements. Lets bring some new life to older content, so that people leveling are encouraged to do FATES between their long queue times for a reward. These days people just stand around waiting for their dungeons to pop, but the Yokai Watch event brought life again to the game. (It was perfect timing too - I had just started on this character. I was up to level 30 in no time wit the aid I got doing fates)

This shouldn’t be too hard to implement - the mechanic is already there. We’ve seen it. Capitalize on it!
