Sounds like a Driver update might be needed on either or both Graphic card and Monitor. You could also try reducing a bit the graphics from the game or don't use Direct X11 if your using it. Also are you using a 32bit system or 64bit system. If your using a 32 bit system that may also be the cause of some issues. SE recommends using 64bit for best experience it can be handled at 32bit, you may have to lower some graphic settings though to avoid many issues.

Another thing it could be is just the refresh rate on your monitor as well. Are you using HDMI ?

For FFXIV you can switch to DX9 - this might help you.
I already reinstalled my graphic driver - had no impact, so let's hope someone knows a better solution.
The Windows Update was also my thought.
    Which Games did you try?
I played Rs6 Siege yesterday and checked if I can see those flashes again, but that Game did not show any of them, no matter what I tried.
    (it also runs with Dx11)

The Main Screen is using HDMI. I allready updated the Driver, after I noticed the Problem, but sadly no change.
    I use a 64 Bit System.
Besides from that I noticed absolutly no changes for the Game. No FPS Drops, no stuttering etc. everything runs like allways without any big Problems.

I thought about the refresh rate, so I tried to lock it at the Monitors maximum, but sadly, no changes.
Also for now, I only saw those flashes in 14. Other Games did not show anything like this.
Like I said a bit above, Rs6 Siege did not show those flashes and I played a bit with the Graphics Settings trying to find some Ideas, where the Problems in 14 might come from.
