Too bad we can't do it cross-server, otherwise I would. I love to compete with others, sadly it's dead content for the majority.
What would it take to cross server chocobo racing. That is a very good ideaMaybe just maybe the Gm will see this and consider cross racing ...

You should create a thread suggesting cross-world chocobo racing. It is a good idea and could make things less of a hassle to find a racing buddy.

We’re all advocating for the type of game we want to see. Mine just happens to clash with yours. I like a story driven game, where people can come together as a community, and defeat challenges based on a PVE format. I want to work together. [snip] You’re not gonna like what I say, but I’m gonna say it regardless because I want Square Enix to hear the other side.

Same, I got a bad inherited trait so there is no reason to bother with my perfect chobobo. Since I am dependent on RNG, I don't want to lose the use of a perfect one so I do not bother. It's not hard, it's grindy and with a lot of RNG in between. It's frustrating when you get bad breeds or the wrong gender. The rewards are not worth it, other than achievements and MGP. After I got my perfect bird, I stopped playing because I got all the achievements and I can't buy anything else with MGP.
I have a thought - and maybe it'll help rebuild that credibility of yours so you can be a proper mentor. I haven't personally done chocobo racing, as I'm too caught up with working my way into Shinryu EX and O4S, however, if what you have done is indeed working, why don't you make a guide? Don't be like 'do this, this and this, or you'll fail'. Make a guide that is helpful - who knows, maybe you can get some stuff started on your server, and maybe that'll help kill a lot of the negative attention that your posts tend to attract. Just a thought - tbh, if your guide is legit and good, I'll share it myself to the discord channels I'm in.
Breeding is very difficult and relies on random results. Can't make a guide the Gm needs to make breeding easier.I have a thought - and maybe it'll help rebuild that credibility of yours so you can be a proper mentor. This is so not true. You know how may guides are out there for heavily RNG based activities such as crafting and fishing? The guides are especially helpful in taking RNG out of the equation, or at least lessening it to a certain degree. As an example, a fishing guide out there can tell you about the different tugs and hooking times so you don't waste time reeling in what you know isn't your target.
I can't say whether it needs to be made easier or not, but I can say that it isn't a matter of 'can't' that withholds you from making a guide. Your experience alone can be transferred over to written-form and that in itself will help newbies along the path.
Also note, that like PvP, players may not be interested in head to head races with a RL opponent. Players like myself won't put a whole lot of value into being the top racer as much as actually breeding a chocobo capable of such.

You do understand that a GM is not a game developer right? GM's do not have the authority or ability to make changes to the game. I could have sworn that this was explained to you in another thread already, yet you keep referring to GM's as game developers.
Ughh, If I were you I'd hide my face with a paper bag.
