    If their lifespan in Shatter is any indication, it will pass forever. SE does not action botting. You can probably do it freely with zero threat of getting banned. The same bots that I first saw starting in Astragalos two weeks ago are already level 60+ in multiple jobs, and several people reporting them daily has done absolutely nothing. There might as well be a public PSA saying that botting is acceptable and to feel free.

    I've seen people with 1000 Astralagos matches title already. They just spammed at right time.

    Not just Astralagos but all PvP has been dead for me on Primal for a while. 30 minute queues aren't fun. Being a tank/healer has spoiled me.

    Lucky you then. Because on Chaos I try queueing and it's always a "More than 30 minutes" average wait time which just makes me say "cba" and drop queue.

    I think the longest I ever waited back in 3.3/3.4 was 2 hours. I sat there with my (secret) crush and just semi-afked. Even she was surprised to still see me there (she was afk too).

    Also I recently popped over to check out Primal's scene. (Forgot I had a Leviathan alt) Maybe I came at a good time, cause it didn't seem much different than Aether. Definitely wasn't "less than 5 minutes", but it was generally less than 10.

    to be fair it probably should die, it is pretty horrible
    The entire game is hinged around a giant rush to get the extraordinarily valuable generator then using the massive advantage it gives to choke the opposing team to death.

    feels like every time I've ever played it the outcome has been determined within the first minute

    Part of that is largely due to the fact that players continue to operate on the mistaken impression that capturing and holding mid will win the match for them.

    The Generator is NOT a main objective.

    Sure, it's nice to have, and it can allow for near continuous spawning of mechs later, but during the initial rush, I've won many matches purely from building momentum against the other team pushing mammets and attacking their towers early. If a teammate grabs CE tanks, we can get an Oppressor out early and drop a tower while people are still trying to contest mid. If this happens on both lanes simultaneously, you've just put the other team in a VERY bad spot, whether you have mid or not.

    This is what people continue to fail to understand, and a large reason everything feels so "decided" early into the match. If all you do is try and fail to capture mid right away, you've made no progress. But if you try and fail to capture mid, but had teams attacking their towers already you've made progress, gained momentum, and are in a position to pressure the enemy offensively. This, THIS, is how you win in Rival Wings.

    The generator is NOT a main objective. You can however attack and destroy main objectives - towers and cores - whether you control the generator or not.

    You see concept like that is just too "complex" for majority and to prove this argument all you need to do is to look how so many failed in Slaughter even when it was pretty much pure TDM, getting those side objects that spawned was almost impossible for so many and i bet only reason why that big thing in middle got destroyed was because all BLM's abused it for AoE. Slaughter was most disgusting pvp mode i have ever played, nothing wrong with TDM but that map and players playing it made it horrible.

    24man Slaughter was ok as there was more breathing room but 72 was something i don't want to see ever again.
