Missing Ninja art

So I’ve been leveling ninja lately, reading a fair bit about what is in store for me. Seems there are quite a few naruto referenced in here (I’m neither shocked or disappointed) but one thing is suspiciously lacking

There is no ability to use the famous Kawarimi art! I would gladly pay a small fee for an alternative death animation thag simply shows a splintered log when my HP reaches 0, and me to reappear in a little smoke puff when revived.

I've heard that way back in 2.x ninja used to have this skill called perfect dodge in place of shade shift which allows them to completely avoid an attack. The animation has them disappearing in a puff of smoke for a moment. Never really got around looking for said skill nor have I actually played during that time so...I could be wrong.

They did but the skill was ultimately useless unless used at the exact right moment to avoid a tank buster in the event that the tank keeled over.

What? It wasn't useless at all. In fact, it was outright broken since it could be used to bypass some mechanics that required tanks to share damage. And SE certainly wouldn't have that. BLM's Manawall suffered the same fate.

Aw I miss Perfect Dodge. It was cool when I used it to avoid Level 100 Death in The World of Darkness.

I'm assuming he's referring to Hellfrog Medium and Katon, pretty sure those are the closest things to a reference. I personally feel like my head is going to retract into my body like a turtle from the cringe anytime someone draws comparisons to.....that anime.

Considering that Naruto itself is a reference to something else... Blah. Never mind. I'm not going to get into the ninjas and Naruto thing. That horse has been beaten enough for years as it is without my adding to it x.x But anyway, yes, I'd like to walk on water to mess with people's heads too lol

I remember the debate about if perfect dodge would avoid an attack buffed by hawk's eye.
