Maybe you should learn some patience or stop “helping”.

I'm reminded of a friend who invited me over to watch a movie I hadn't seen before, but instead of letting me just watch the damn movie, he fast forwarded through all the parts he apparently thought "weren't as cool"
Needless to say, this wasn't an optimal first-time-movie-watching experience.
I had a history-teacher like that! He watched The Patriot with us, fastforwarding through any non-battle-scenes, commenting them with "Oh, they gonna die anyways!"I'm reminded of a friend who invited me over to watch a movie I hadn't seen before, but instead of letting me just watch the damn movie, he fast forwarded through all the parts he apparently thought "weren't as cool"

...for a history lesson on a tuesday afternoon that was actually kinda entertaining

Because one could watch the rest on youtube later, lol.I'm reminded of a friend who invited me over to watch a movie I hadn't seen before, but instead of letting me just watch the damn movie, he fast forwarded through all the parts he apparently thought "weren't as cool"

I used to skip every cutscene up until the very end of ARR, then the feels with the Sultana got me and I have watched the story since. Imagine that, people wanting to watch cutscenes in a story driven MMO, go figure.

I still believe they should remove the Main Scenario roulette, rebalance that MSQ to a solo duty, and deal with this situation once and for all. The 100 tomestones per day won't be missed, there's dozens of other ways to obtain these.
Or
ilvl sync to 50 and make these dungeons a challenge again. This way when you've got new people, you're explaining the fights while their in cutscenes so you have a better than even chance of not wiping. Triple new player reward to compensate. I kinda like this one because those new players get their hands dirty in some mechanic driven content before getting into HW stuff.
This is ridiculous. If you truly wanted to help them, you honestly wouldn't mind if they watched their cs. Instead, you're trying to hide your selfish ulterior motives by justifying how you're helping them in the process.
"You don't deserve any cs" cause of you're trying to farm unsynced bonuses off them? They paid for the game, they're entitled to the perks, story/lore, and any content that this game provides - If they wanna watch their cutscenes, that's up to them.
I'm amazed at how blatantly selfish you are. If you know that there's gonna be some downtime with the cs, go find something else to do during that period instead of complaining.

This made me laugh out loud. I think I was stuck behind that person watching cutscenes at a traffic light before.
It's totally irrelevant though. When did civil engineers start adding cutscenes to motorways?
When I did Castrum Meridianum, I joined the duty finder. It was terrible. I watched the cutscenes but the group got far enough ahead that I was locked out of boss fights. So I made a party finder for Praetorium and specified that I wanted to watch the cutscenes. A really nice level 70 player offered to take me through. That is a far better way to do those dungeons. If any new players make a party finder for those dungeons, I'd gladly take them through and wait for the cutscenes.
Sad thing is...most new players have no idea how PF works. But nice to know there are people willing to help out! This made me laugh out loud. I think I was stuck behind that person watching cutscenes at a traffic light before.

Why would people join pfs though if that person will make them skip the cutscenes? They get that expierence in DF without having to search.
