I dislike PvP but am glad they are adding it for those who enjoy it. I like that it appears it will be contained and no one should be able to kill me when I'm just questing or whatever. Hopefully they will not dork up the class balance for PvE because of it.

Its very easy to balance PvP/PvE by following GWs and several other MMOs example. Every ability does something different then it does in the other. Ie: Sleep in PvE last 30's and has no resistance after the first cast, in PvP Sleep last 10 seconds and the player gains immunity from sleep for 30 seconds. Its not that hard.

im not much of a PVP fan but i would have a lot of fun with an watchable arena, just imagine cheering for a friend of yours that is fighting, that would be awesome, i just hope that they tweak abilities and stats specially for the duration of PVP matches/fields only like they did in FFXI so it wont mess with the PVE. also im glad they keep PVP optional so you wont see poor lowlevels getting ganked by idiots that think they are funny.

Idea for 1 form of PvP in the game:

A Brenner Style PvP arena where there are like 5 flag poles spaced out over a map. Where you have to control an area to raise that flag in your teams name, and have to occupy an area for a certain amount of time before taking over an area, flag raising and lowering controlled by amount of people from each team in area. One Big timer on each team counts down at variant speed based on # of flags owned over other team. First one to have points depleted loses.

I also like the idea of free for all and other team/straggety types of PvP.

Some of the best times I had in Aion were dominating lower level players. Some might think that is stupid or immature, but I got dominated several times myself. What goes around comes around.

I don't like PvP or compete with people at all.
But, ya they should open one arena stuffs like the one in uldah for people to beat up each other. to gain confidence about themselves?
It's a big challenge to use the combo tho. and class balance
