    isn't it about time to get the rest of map into use ?

    I am talking about the aetheryte gate with mobs lvl 60+, how about reduce their lvl to equal with mobs in SH so player can have more place to farm, grind instead of let those area being untouched (only if ppl go there for the achievement but that doesn't make it much use either). SE can eventually place some chest there so ppl can farm there while exp or HNM

    edit: or GC escort quest and etc that give those area some use

    I hope they don't blow it all up. There are some neat places, like the Gilmorre Ruins up near lasthold, that are hidden behind those level 80+ mobs. What they need to do is make more spots like that and eliminate the cookie cutter stuff. When I first set foot in the ruins my thought was 'why didn't they put camps in places like this instead of the vanilla areas they are in now?' It would be a cool spot maybe if you could exp there or if it held an aetheral gate that took you to a place like the temple of uggalepih, but instead its filled with level 80 morbol that no one is ever going to exp on.

    They prolly forgot to add the content that was supposed to be there? Unless they thought "in the future we will definitely put something here so litter it with things players would be incapable of killing : D"

    The idea is to keep players out of these areas so that when the meteor blows up half of Eorzea, there are as few casualties as possible :P

    Maybe the radical in-game map changes between 1.23 and 2.0 will change or even erase those ares first before that meteor hits us.

    it is not about re-design, it is about get those area into use now instead of let them be useless until map re-design

    They've already been doing this since 1.19.

    The beastman strongholds were built in locations that were otherwise completely unused beforehand. The area around Turning Leaf was redesigned for all the nonsense that goes along with the Moogle Primal fight.
