Windows 10 1709 (fall creators update) causing framerate drop.

I've seen closed concerns with the same issue but no answers. After the fall creators update I get framerate drops when the game used to play smoothly. googling around I did not see any answers that didn't involve rolling back to 1703. Does anyone know if a fix is on it's way?

I am having the same issue, most noticeably inside of my Shirogane house and second in large scale duties. Never had any frame rate lag beforehand updating windows 10 a few days ago. Glad to know it was the windows update and not my graphics card giving up lol

These framerate drops came directly after the most recent Windows 10 update? Has there been any other change in your PC around the same time (Graphics card driver update, anti-virus update, etc.)?

Have you attempted rolling back the Windows update?

Can you elaborate on the severity of this issue? Has it been accompanied by any graphical glitches or crashing?

No, it's definately the update. Many tech-support youtubers such as linus-tech-tips and others have done some performance numbers, and the creators update hurts everybody outside those using the intel integrated graphics. No real "fix" per say, but to roll back and block the update at this time.
