I need advice on an FC matter

I think at the end of the day you need to remember your mental health comes first. A game like Final Fantasy is supposed to be fun and relax you. If it is creating undo stress, do not hold yourself back for millions of in game currency. In 10 years, it won’t matter when the game becomes obsolete or doesn’t make as much money anymore because the technical foundations of the game will hold it back from keeping up with newer games. You’ll want all that time back stressing about in game money and FC ranks. Do what makes you happy. Don’t waste your time stressing over a game. If people are still your friends, leaving the FC won’t affect your relationship.

I suggest letting go of the FC and persuing what makes you happy. Fighting with this guy, while in hopes and good faith he would change, speaks to your good character. You’re not the bad guy here. But nobody can change that he’s the current leader who is abusing his power. And you can’t take it away from him - it doesn’t work like that.

TL;DR: Don’t stay because of some attachment to pixel currency and FC points. Money can be earned back; your time cannot.

Our (former!) FC leader agreed to step down after some long discussions, and I was voted in by the other fc officers. Best of all, the fc members that were so very ready to leave are able to stay and are even re-motivated to build up the fc again!
