Gear with Set Bonuses and the Revision of Old Gear

I always enjoyed set bonuses, except SE's set bonuses lol. Nearly all of them in XI were complete gimmicks and worthless in comparison to the loss of stats you had to take on some of the pieces just for the measly set bonus.

I think this is basically saying you did lol. The only gimmicky ones were Auto-Refresh or Conserve TP type set bonuses -- Majority were actually worth using for quite awhile. Stats only overtook the setbonus when they raised the cap and added new gear.
