If the hunting log was reworked into a bestiary mimicking some features from Bravely Default, I could see this working.

But as it is hardly a popular and most requested feature (the hunting log revamp, that is), I doubt SE would give it a second look.

Maybe in some future where FF14 is still successful five years later and they just start on concentrating on adding little things here and there.
