Question about GM support queries

I've always wondered this, on the rare occasions when I do have to contact a GM... when you get that your support query has been answered, and you click "Close", does it close the issue entirely, or just close it from your side so that you don't get the popup message?

Greetings, Feral Savage! We would like to inform you that closing a ticket does not in any way impact the outcome, or investigation of a report. When tickets are placed as 'Closed,' it is so our team is able to see who still requires assistance, and helps to prevent the flooding of unwanted messages being sent out.
