To Naoki Yoshida: Please focus on Housing wards more next time you put new patch

When I sat on that Fan Fest for Stormblood, I was quite hyped with Shirogane and Kugane's announcement. I was also hoping that you, Mr. Yoshida would consider to add more wards for upcoming new housing.... but you didn't. You added 12 wards instead in a new housing zone.

I was very upset and disappointed.

You closed many servers from being created and being transferred, and offered free transfer to empty servers. Today, we only have like 5-10% available spots for apartments but they do not justify the amount of plots being all sold out. By one player with 8 characters or one character with two housing due to character and Free Company. Apartment rooms cant' be upgraded. It's a small size like old 2.1-2.3 sized small plot house.

Even then who owns apartment and small house or even medium house, people always desire and hunger for bigger space.

Also before anyone might assume that I am accusing two Mateus players for taking half of the ward, I am not. But if Mr. Yoshida, it's been 4 years. You need to push to add more wards with more players entering in. Almost every servers are medium populated even if they are preferred destination. You can see more than 100-200 people in Kugane waiting for the moment to grab a plot.

I am sure people are hyped up for 4.1's 24 man raid. I am too. I am not here to discuss it. I am sure people will also tell me that I should cut slack and give praise the developers who are "trying" their best to bring us new content every 3 months. But I was always "Yay"er than "Nay"er for 4 years. I really did. I've been patient with these guys since 2.1's housing and 2.3's housing and then 2.5 then 3.3 and so on. 3.3 housing prices dropped down massively with no actual addition to wards.

I can't speak for people who want PVP or don't want PVP. I personally don't find PVP fun, but that's just my opinion and others have their own. I feel that one Expert dungeon for next patch was not enough for me to satisfy my desire to play this game. Some of us just enjoy decorating something to keep subscribing to this game and that should be a privilege to all of us.

No one should fight for housing. No one should feel left out from getting a house - for any size. No one should feel the need to stress themselves to play a game trying to find their own enjoyments.

Please Yoshi P, I am begging you. As a loyal player, I am begging you to reconsider to add more wards ASAP to base on the population that we have at the moment. The amount of players are much higher than 2.x and 3.x.

I've played this game for so long enough to share my view as a loyal customer. I shouldn't even have to write multiple threads and posts about housing because I am so frustrated every patch hoping that you'd someday listen. But I can see myself unable to grab a plot tomorrow because everyone else just like me will fight over the plot and knowing that we would never get a single luck.

EVEN Japanese players in Housing forum section is upset too knowing that they have to fight over their plots. No one should feel like they are rushed and insult each other and fight over something that's considered a casual optional content, which is basically housing.

I know people will disagree or agree what I will say. But I hope everyone will still try to support a fellow player to find his/her enjoyment of the game.

We all need to find a better solution for the housing system if possible. Whether it'd be instance, more wards, or even one per account.

We are all playing together. I think we all have something that we feel dissatisfied in any type of games and this is one of them. The player shared her thoughts, and she's not fully wrong. She shared her opinions and she shared about her preference of the game. What's wrong with that?

And if people keep liking the post and bumping it, it becomes known to the mods such as Bayohne.

Yeah I'm rather upset as well. Never could get a plot in the original places. Got somewhat excited with getting one here and nope, all gone before I could even get though the login queue. More of this game without ever having a plot I guess.

What really makes me upset is that SE allows one person to buy endless plots. I've heard of one single person owning an entire ward.

It won't get passed along if it comes from the English forums.
The only way anything is getting done is if that entire post is translated to Japanese and posted on the JP forums, and the JP playerbase agrees with it.

No one should have to fight to own a house of any size.
This is an advertised FEATURE of the game. It was one of the center points of this expansion. There shouldn't be a need for competition over who gets to access this feature.

The system that is currently set in place encourages people to go against eachother, to compete for something that shouldn't be a competition to start with.
This system is what is currently allowing players to purchase plots for themselves just to illegally resell via reddit or other forums without the GMs acting on it.

The number of housing instances need to scale on all towns proportionally to the active population of the server. Or another system should be worked on such as phasing which seems to work for other mmos.

Preferred world plots were eaten in less than 10 minutes. I very much agree with what was said, please add more wards, please consider more large plots too.
