    Unable to use world transfer service

    Platform: PC
    Character Name: Kyra Allain
    World: Midgardsormr
    Destination World: Excalibur
    Issue: "This character cannot use the World Transfer Service until 90 days have elapsed since the character was created. Please try the process again after 90 days have elapsed."

    When it gets to the confirm transfer portion of the world transfer application it says that a problem has been found, claiming that my character is not at least 90 days old. I made the character back in August so it has been over 100 days at this point. I have done everything else (removed items for sale, left FC, etc.), but it still wont let me transfer the character.

    I have checked the world status for both worlds and they are standard and not closed to transfers.

    I'm not sure why it claims that my character isn't 90 days old yet, but I'd like for this flag to be changed so I can transfer it to Excalibur and play with my friends.

    How exactly do I contact support with phone or live chat?

    The first thing I did was go to the support and open up a ticket, but the only option is 'e-mail support'. When I used that and opened a ticket I got an automated message back that just directed me to the forums. I tried replying back to them twice during business hours to see if I could get an actual response, but I just get the same 'Submit a bug report on the forums.'

    Is there phone/live chat support for FF14 so I can avoid doing that again?

    Of course, here is some information that will help get in contact with us:

    To reach our live chat support please follow the steps below.

    1. Visit the SQUARE ENIX Support Center at http://support.na.square-enix.com/
    2. Select FINAL FANTASY XIV as the game title.
    3. On the next screen click on "Contact".
    4. You will then need to select a category and sub category from the drop down menus.
    5. Next, type a basic description of your inquiry in the "Contact details" section and click "Next".
    6. On the following page click "Next" again. Ignoring any Knowledge Base Suggestions that may apply.
    7. Provided your contact is during SQUARE ENIX Support Center's hours of operation, you should see a Chat Support option. Click "proceed to chat support" to initiate contact with one of our Chat Support Representatives.

    NOTE: Live service is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 - 18:00 (Pacific Time) (Excluding holidays)

    Additionally, you can get assistance from a Game Master in-game. To do this simply type “/supportdesk,” which will bring up the menu to contact a GM for further assistance. Game Masters offer support 24/7.

    I have the exact same Issue and sadly email support for me has always takes 1-3 weeks to respond..

    I followed directions in this thread there is no chat support feature only email support.

    Its been over 160 days way over the 90 day limit and for almost half a year been waiting to play with my friends... i kind of feel like SE just wants me to give up trying.

    I got a response form email stating that they can not help me as it is out of the GMs service area.

    I guess i don't know who we need to contact. There is only Email support and they say they can't help us.

    same thing is happening to me. i made a character on midgarsormr when it was a preferred world. character was created in sept 1st. when trying to transfer him to another server, I get the "90 days minimum" message when it's been much longer than that. i tried contacting support but they ask me what state of the US i live in and zip code, but i live outside the US

    Same Boat

    Midgardsormr, over 90 days, won't let me transfer. I'm so annoyed and frustrated with how useless the square enix support is. Has anyone found any solution?

    I had tried two separate email support tickets to no avail only to be told that they cannot help me and is not in their support area.
    I ended up having to go in game and use /supportdesk and submit a help ticket explaining the situation and if they could direct me to the proper channels for help.

    But it ended up past support hours so I am hoping i find out later today after work if they will help me, their response Friday night was they were escalating it to the proper channels for investigation.

    Same issue. On Midgarsormr.

    I transferred there September 7th. Been over 90 days. Not letting me transfer to Faerie to join a friend.

    I will attempt to use the channels listed here for assistance. Seems to be an issue with preferred worlds perhaps?
