This one gets it.Bad players in random DF dungeons! STOP THE PRESS!
Can I go to the DPS forums and make a QQ post everytime I out DPS a rando DPS when im on tank? My raid group made a bingo card to play while we do stuff. One of the squares is "Izsha out damages a DPS". We literally yell bingo every time. When looking for raid members over the years we don't invite them again if they get 'bingo'd'. At least we only care about that when were doing raiding.
Apparently I should also be fretting over scrubby performance in a stupid dungeon too and mak a thread about the 'New Norm' of DPS doing less damage than tanks every time I bingo someone.
Don't like your tanks? Be one. Don't want to be a tank? Teach them. Cant teach? Learn how to tank so you can. Don't want to do anything helpful? STFU.
Never have I seen satasha so optimized!! This guy is rewriting the meta! Let the aoe regens heal 4 people! Much efficiency!Huh, get a load of these casuals. You haven't caught onto the new meta of letting aggro split evenly on the party? This way, tanks can conserve health, CDs, and stay in dps stance. Meanwhile, all incoming damage is split evenly upon 4 (four!!) party members in a dungeon setting. Imagine the possibilities in a 24-man scenario. This makes it so the healer has more opportunity to contribute in the way of dps, because they no longer have to heal the tank as much. eHP, DPS, and mitigation all sky rocket to the game's limits, yet you all choose to limit it to one party member? Shame on you.
Get on my level.
Well I see it as this.. if the dps pulls ahead of me and grabs aggro on purpose they obviously want to tank. So Drop tank stance pop my 20% bonus damage and play dps unless the healer grabs aggro.Guess what next time you see that dps guarantee they're either gonna leave or they wont facepull. I consider it a win win.lesson learned, life goes on Is it wrong ,very much so. But after having it happen while you're busy trying to pull the mass of AoE away from the rest of the party I find my care button partly broken.
Gosh, am I tempted to do that the next time! I get so annoyed when DPS pulls and then I have to clean up the mess.Well I see it as this.. if the dps pulls ahead of me and grabs aggro on purpose they obviously want to tank. I've definitely had some trouble lately. The other day I had a DRK who would use unleashed once then auto attack. I kept trying to help and offer advice but nothing. No response. So aggro kept bouncing around and I kept healing.
If I'm holding off on pulling a mob, then it's most likely because I'm looking at the healer's MP pool, and I don't like how empty it is. That's pretty much the only time I'll hold off on a pull.
Because you're definitely going to see your timers reset after a wipe because the healer ran dry.
Thankfully most healers know how to manage their MP and don't need a full pool per mob pack.
Let's keep those GL stacks and eye of the dragon's going, guys!

Honestly.... As a PLD second main.... I really have no problems keeping agro. As long as grear is within certain iLV to keep up with a DPS that has maxed out raid grear, you should be fine without dropping shield oath + spam flash and ragecombo + circle.
I just think people don't really understand how the agro system works with the skillset in tanks that are given. PLD is super easy and straight forward once you have the mindset of "spam flash". If one can't manage as a PLD, I also believe one can't manage the two other tank roles.
