If anything they could start off by limiting it to minions that can ride on your shoulder (although to be honest it would be great if they made it possible for all minions to sit on your shoulder too).

I don't think it will probably happen. SE made AST/SMN/SCH pets no longer follow the owner on a mount. If they let minions show while on a mount, pet owners are going to balk and demand their pet following while mounted back.

If you know the name of the one you want, type /minion "name"

Do they just get on the mount with us? If so, I would love that, XD

I don't see fat cat keeping up with rocket ships and they didn't plan for minions riding onboard the mounts with us, would present issues with clipping or not having a natural place for them to sit.
