Nothing would be applied here, just a preview of what is possible.

The emote and skill preview thing would be a little window with video, showing your character doing certain skills or emotes with the currently selected glamours and dyes.
As a noob, I would love this. I'm kind of overwhelmed by the whole glamour thing as I have no clue what is even availible let alone where to farm it, so I have yet to glamour anything and am just focusing on going through the game. I mean obviously I have seen clothes in game lol, but it just seems like there are potentially so many options that I would love a consolidated place to see all that's availible so I could decide what I want.

Well. No. No at least like SWTOR. For the love of god. That Cartel Market shit windows pops in front of your nose for every step you do. They can do it, but please, hide it in a system menu or something.

One issue with an ingame Mog Station would mean that SE will use it to advertise the cash shop items ingame. I have played some F2P/B2P games where the cash shop icon is big, flashy and whenever you log in or play for few hours, you will see ingame pop-up advertising the Mog Station.

I understand where you are comming from, OP. But I fear the marketing department will use your idea and twist to fit their needs. I feel that this is an pandora's box and I for one am not looking forward to ingame ads.

I've often thought that the easy way for them to at least offer a preview would be to just create a category on the Calamity Salvager (or similar) that lists all the cash shop items, but for some non-existent currency. Then you could at least use the "Try On" feature for each of the items. It's not a perfect solution by any means, and the fact you can't buy it there would require an explanation, but at least it could be done with very little/no programming effort.

Oh to add to this, not sure about other items but the Salvager (or is it recompense) officer let's you trade between male and female clothing. The example being Lightning and Snow from FFXIII both have attire that you can try on from this menu, even if you have nothing to trade between them. So yeah definitely can't see it being a bad thing to add more Mog Station items to these menus just get the option of trying them.

Description for that currency could direct them to Mogstation.

Keep your cash shops out of my video game and in a web browser where they belong.

This is only MMO I played that had cash shop not accessible in game. At least as far as I can remember.

A collections tab would be interesting, has a log of every possible, dye, item, hairstyle etc . . . that is view-able and allows one to try out certain things. More or less an in game item database.
