I think this would be a nice feature to see mog station stuff in game before buying.

I loathe the Mog Shop and want it kept as far away from the game as possible.

However, since they already pull character data for the Lodestone displays, perhaps they could do something similar for the Mog Station- when you're logged in to the cash shop your character model is available with the same dressing room preview available in the game, so you can try on outfits in the shop itself.

The latter option would at least be nice in allowing us to try on any outfit in the game even if we don't actually own it yet.
I like that idea. Like a catalogue of all available clothes in the game. Knowing where it's obtained is also a great idea. That way I could include dungeon drops I might not have in planning glamour and farm more specifically, if I like something.
Wouldn't even need a new system for that, just add a tab to the market board.

    I'd rather have no mogstation.

No thank you to in game mog station unless it is hidden by default unless turned on. No ads, no specials, no prompts. I'd prefer an in game preview of all dyes, glamours, emotes, and skill previews, even the ones you have yet to unlock and it tells you where to unlock it or buy it via hover. Nothing would be applied here, just a preview of what is possible.

The emote and skill preview thing would be a little window with video, showing your character doing certain skills or emotes with the currently selected glamours and dyes.

Well. No. No at least like SWTOR. For the love of god. That Cartel Market shit windows pops in front of your nose for every step you do. They can do it, but please, hide it in a system menu or something.

One issue with an ingame Mog Station would mean that SE will use it to advertise the cash shop items ingame. I have played some F2P/B2P games where the cash shop icon is big, flashy and whenever you log in or play for few hours, you will see ingame pop-up advertising the Mog Station.

I understand where you are comming from, OP. But I fear the marketing department will use your idea and twist to fit their needs. I feel that this is an pandora's box and I for one am not looking forward to ingame ads.

As a noob, I would love this. I'm kind of overwhelmed by the whole glamour thing as I have no clue what is even availible let alone where to farm it, so I have yet to glamour anything and am just focusing on going through the game. I mean obviously I have seen clothes in game lol, but it just seems like there are potentially so many options that I would love a consolidated place to see all that's availible so I could decide what I want.

Not trying drag this too far off topic, but I've thought the same with hairstyles. I wish that the character creator would show you all available hairstyles, and maybe just have a small notation advising when a certain style is obtained via other methods. Glamours and hairstyles can look so different between the races - would be nice to be able to sample before purchase

I think you have cause and effect backwards here, to be honest.
