Smn will see nerfs.
Dps meta will still be all physical yawn.

So perhaps we shouldn't be fighting about it in this thread, but MNK's damage really is just fine, or at least the highest damage MNKs are WAY out-damaging the highest damage DRGs by anywhere from 7-12%. Furthermore, all the highest percentile MNKs I know love the job and lament it ONLY because of the state of BRD+MCH+DRG.
Read: The biggest issue with MNK/DRG is that DRG is required for disembowel for BOTH BRD AND MCH for the meta. This is the biggest thing "wrong" with MNK, and the meta, is this reliance on piercing, so MNK is shunned. This issue should have been fully addressed back in 3.2 when it first cropped up, but alas.
@Remedi, it's the MP cost of the stances that sucks. Needing MP to turn on the other oath/Grit blows your Dark Arts/Requiescat MP table, and that really bites. About the reduction, that is true, but I think a different workaround would be better.

That's part of the problem, yes, but now when people are complaining who still main it, or used to main it but abandoned it this expansion, the skills for the job are an absolute mess. The complaint isn't that we're not meta, its that our skills are locked behind multiple layers of RNG, and our toolkit is at odds with itself. We have skills to extend our buffs that mean we have to fail and intentionally take damage, or we're punished if we have a competent scholar who gets a strong enough galvanize on us that we don't take damage at all. Our primary skill to refresh our primary job buff is on a 3 minute cool down ever since ARR, whereas comparable skills on NIN, DRG, and BLM are on cool downs less than a minute long, and the build up time to get back our buff without that skill is much more punishing than the brief amount of time one of these jobs has to wait to restore their buff.So perhaps we shouldn't be fighting about it in this thread, but MNK's damage really is just fine, or at least the highest damage MNKs are WAY out-damaging the highest damage DRGs by anywhere from 7-12%. The piercing debuff definitely hurts us when it comes to raiding, yes, but the problems run far deeper than that.

SMN DoTs potency will be changed from 50 to 45

I really don't think they will be doing this, to be honest. SMN is strong certainly but it's the ONLY caster that's even close to competing for the "meta" slot, so I'd much sooner think bigger buffs to BLM and possibly some to RDM utility (and single-target proportionally to whatever they do with BLM)
Give brd and mch piercing defbuff so drg doesn't have to be a requirement all the time. Which will open up a spot for any other dps.
Give mnks brothehood physical and magical.
Give shirk to dps and bloodbath to tanks

Maybe they should just abolish the whole blunt/piercing/slashing weakness. Just keep it simple, Physical and magical.
SMN - fix pet AI and Bahamut AI
MNK - maybe looking at the first phase of skill over haul or maybe a complete overhaul
DRK - looking at a big overhaul as well (or else will continue to be the stormbloods PLD this round)
MCH - in an okay place but may get some much needed QOL changes
BLM - get buffed and maybe lowering some spell cast times, make foul instant.
RDM - some potency buffs it is the bottom caster.
Tanks - maybe some tweaking of tenacity to avoid the issue tanks had with crafting accs being more viable than the higher ilvl ones..or just make tenacity not useless in general -_-
