Lootmaster:Should it be abolished

The only time I've had an issue with lootmaster is when someone forms a party and switches the loot rule just before queuing the group. I blacklist the party leader and leave when that happens. I don't think it is needed for PUGs and actually acts as a disincentive for people to stick with a farming party. However as long as the party leader says lootmaster in the post so I can avoid that group I don't care if it is allowed for PF or not.

The lootmaster system needs a need greed button though.

Joined one once where the description was lootmaster bird only. All other drops normal. Had the bird so didnt care about that Joined said party as job I wanted weapon on and then it when it dropped it was greed roll only. As the o my option were either directly hand it to a player or set it to greed rolls. So my self and the other ninja at the time both lost it to a war.

Only loot master group I've ever been in. Wouldn't have minded if I lost a need roll to the other ninja...

Lootmaster has purposes, but if you're joining lootmaster parties for stuff like <5% mount drops, you're just being a sucker. That's your fault, not the game's.

It's like agreeing to play /random casino games that don't even make any attempt whatsoever to look kind to the player.
