why does ffxi/ffxiv need to be online? since when are final fantasy online games? well since ffxi of course.
and now if they add platforming to ffxiv, final fantasy games can be platforming too since ffxiv.

stop living in the past and try to shakle ffxiv down with your backwarded views. we must be progressive now and go back to the future.

I think the appropriate use of "living in the past" would be for those who still play MUDs and want MMOs to revert back to the glory days.
