    Because they wanted to allow people to play a Final Fantasy together for once? Since "playing FF together" before was taking turns. (Pretty sure they explained why they made XI online, and part of it was because it's what they always wanted to do with the series but was held by back technology at the time.)

    just because you are adding jump and being able to travel by jumping from "platforms" to platforms doesnt necacarrly mean it is a platform game, but what it does is it adds depth and a different kind of exploring. nothing negative about it at all. why are humans even against this?

    Humans are allowed to like or dislike things that's what makes you human.. at least in most nations in the world humans are free to act human and not conform to what is "supposed" to be the "right answer."
