Will Mounts be able to jump?

i agee with isaveron and it has nothing to do with insecuirty. why shouldnt our mounts be able to jump, except for boring specific chocobos? it is just silly. what if you are in mixed terrain with both obstacles and water? are we supposed to dismount, mount new mount, dismount, mount new mount? oh please

Never played FFVII or IX, huh or even FFXI's take on it?
