Regarding Road to 60 Buff

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct forum, as I'm brand new. I apologize if I'm not.
My question is this; My friend has lost the Road to 60 buff on all but one of his character on Adamantoise, as of 12/8/17, while all of mine have retained the buff. How can I help him resolve the problem, or at least find out why this has happened? Sadly, his interest is waning, fast, and I'd hate to see him go.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The path to 60 buff expires 90 days after you make your character if you are no longer on a preferred world.

hmmm. He's made the characters within the past week. They've been logged on since then, so the 90 day expiration doesn't really apply. At least i don't think it would.

Adamantoise was changed from Preferred world to a standard world on Nov 28, so any characters created after that would not have gotten the Road to 60 buff at all.

While this isn't a technical issue, we will still try to assist. As stated above, Adamantoise was changed to a Standard world at the end of November (as stated on the lodestone here: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...eff925ea3d2d0e)

I cannot see your friends account, however, I'm going to assume that he created the character after the change and you created your's before. This would explain why you still have the Road to 60 buff and your friend does not.

Ok. Thank you for the input, and that answer. I believe his account and characters were also created before the end of November. For example, the one character he has that retains the buff was created After some of the ones who do not. We were both confused.
I will have him contact email support. Hopefully they can give him an answer as to why this happened. Thanks very much!
