No Auto-Translate on Macbook Pro w/touchbar?

Computer model : Late 2016 15" Macbook Pro with touchbar

FFXIV version : OSX

The auto translate function appears to be completely missing. Pressing tab while typing? Nothing. Pressing R1 on a playstation 4 controller? Nothing.

There seems to be no reference to it at all in-game.

Already tried reinstalling the game and reseting the config file. It works fine on Windows via bootcamp.

Can anyone else confirm this bug?

There's also no tooltip on the chatbar that says "Tab: Auto-translate", like the windows and ps4 versions. it only shows the expand tooltip
