What if you DIDN'T lose points in Feast?

Feast is not for everyone, It's the only Real competitve Mode in xiv and there wouldnt be any reason to try if there wasnt a penalty for losing rating, "Oh i see this healer on my team, its a lost" and not even try because it wouldnt matter.. lol no thank you

While I understand it's meant to be a serious competitive mode, fact is, Frontlines and Rival Wings don't force you into random parties. That said, when they restore Light Party Feast then I'll see it as a serious competitive mode again, but currently, even Rival Wings seems more on the right track than the Feast. . .

There's no point, nothing will fix feast. I think SE plans to push the whole tournament angle over it-a bracket with player-made light parties. Essentially doing the same thing as bard music and ultimate savage, make something only a few people do but streams nice.

Personally I'm sick of Feast Seasons. I wish they would do seasons for Frontlines and Rival Wings instead.

As for your suggestion. the only thing is; is that wouldn't losing points for a lost make things easier for others to get the rewards for being able to overtake you? If you have more wins versus someone who just begun the season, your spot would be pretty much secure even if you lost a few a now and then.

At least single queue feast feels competitive, can't get to top 30 with only bronze... doesnt light party feast have even more win trading too?

It's a pvp, there ware winners and losers, if you win you get something, if you lose you lose something, simple.

Stop cry and go pve, but don't complain if mobs and bosses keep killing you over and over.

I agree - I don't think they're really going to "fix" Feast either. Although in the latest interview, YoshiP did say something about changing the rules a bit. We'll see how that goes. Perhaps when they let teams be created they'll give us our chat back (/pray)

Are they going to release light party Feast again? I thought it was gone for good.

The plan is to relaunch Light Party Feast with an actual team registration system, with the ultimate goal to host their own official tournaments.

Dumbest idea ive heard then you could reach top 100 even if being terrible at pvp by just spamming matches whole day.
