Culling Retainers: Will I lose everything?

Hi there. As the title says, I need to cull my retainers to save some money as things are tight at the moment. I would like to be able to get them back again at a later date when things improve. My retainers are all level 60+ with fairly decent gear. If I unsub them, will I lose all their gear and levels, effectively resetting them back to default, or will they just become dormant until I can resubscribe?

The latter. Your retainer stays the same along with stuff in their inventory until you decided to pay for extra retainer service again.

It will just say contract suspended next to your retainers when you access the summoning bell. Everything will be ready to roll when you are. I’ve had to do this a few times as well and it’s no problem at all. Hope things turn around for you quickly!
