Entertainer System
I think instead of letting only Bards be able to perform music, these actions should be under another job system. We have Disciples of the Land, and Disciples of the Hand. I think a new collection should be called Disciples of Entertainment.
Musician
There would three ways to do music.
1. The way Bards have now. This is for very simple stuff.
2. Dragging the performance icons into a list. Next to the list, a person can modify how long the note lasts(either by note type, whole note, half note, etc), or by seconds.
3. The ability to drag musical notes onto a staff into an empty sheet of music. This would be the most advanced and for people who know how to read music.
This class levels up by performing music in the open, making music, sharing music, and getting likes.
The way music is made would not affect how much xp the class gets. The length of the music made, and variety of notes would.
There would be a "Music Store" for music. Once a musician crafts a blank roll of paper, they can transfer the music onto this and then add it the the Music Store. A person can preview music in the store, like the music, and request it. When they request it, the maker will get the request in the mail. They then make the sheet music and reply to the person who sent the mail with the sheet attached.
Leveling up would add other instruments, and maybe the ability to make sheet music that includes two instruments. One musician would open the sheet music, then invite another musician with the other needed instrument. Then they will both play the song together.
Dancer
A dancer can dance to songs in the orchestron roll, or make dance steps to sheet music made by musicians.
This would play like DDR. If they have a song unlocked, they can select the song. Their character then dances to the song while the player hits arrow keys like in DDR. Mistakes would cause the character to trip or something. While dancing, they will only hear the audio from their dance.
They can also get sheet music and create their own steps.
A dancer would level up based on how many successful arrows they hit in a song. Higher levels would add cool effects to the character when they dance, and performing a song well enough would give them buffs that unlock as they level.
This dancing could even include like some PVP. 4 players play the same song and get points. Winner gets the most XP.
