    Network Technical Difficulties Caused by DDoS Attacks (Nov. 16)(Updated Nov. 20)

    We are currently experiencing technical difficulties due to a DDoS attack.
    Players may experience the following issues as a result.

    We are looking into the way attacks are being made and taking countermeasures. More information will be provided as the situation develops.

    The affected Data Centers under [Details] were incorrectly indicated as NA/EU but has now been corrected to JP Data Center.

    Network Technical Difficulties Caused by DDoS Attacks (Nov. 16): Follow-Up

    We would like to provide an update regarding the network technical difficulties caused by DDoS attacks.

    Since Nov. 16, 2017 12:55 p.m. (PST), the JP Data Center has been periodically targeted by DDoS attacks varying from a few minutes to a few hours in duration.

    Our defensive measures have been able to defend against most of the attacks, and we have been able to minimalize their effects on players. We are keeping careful watch on the situation as we continue to do our best to defend against the attacks.

    We would like to provide an update regarding the network technical difficulties caused by DDoS attacks.

    As of Nov. 26, 2017 4:00 p.m. (PST) / Nov. 27 0:00 (GMT), we have confirmed that we are no longer being targeted by DDoS attacks.

    We will continue our defensive measures that had been taken to mitigate the effects of the attacks on players, along with consideration for further precautions, in order to provide the best possible defenses.
