Press further and their complaints are nearly all the same. Namely: that the goofy j-pop characters, cheesy romance scenes, sci-fi worlds, CS heavy and increasingly linear gameplay of FFVIII, FFX, and now FFXIII have derailed the series.
Was mostly pointing out that silly stuff existed in games before World of Warcraft was released, but...you know, that too...
