Its a gimmick, and it will end up making the game look silly without any limits on it.

Even on the JP forums, they are complaining that the Achievement Crowns should be weakened (some have even suggested changing the bonus on the Paragon to +1) because the game looks stupid when everyone looks the same.

The entire team isn't working on the goobbue mount, it was probably only 1-3 people out of the 200 at most.
